Ross Greenburg speaks out on Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto - Pacquiao Special, Cotto Relentless By Johnny Benz (Oct 20, 2009) DoghouseBoxing
In a an interview playing now on DoghouseBoxing (see link below), Doghouse's very own David Tyler catches up with Ross Greenburg, the President of HBO Sports. The interview is very interesting and hits on tons of hot topics, from Floyd Mayweather Jr., Oscar De La Hoya to Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto.
In regards to Manny Pacquiao's upcoming challenge against Miguel Cotto (Nov 14), the subject of size (Pacquiao being the smaller fighter) was addressed.
Greenburg tells DoghouseBoxing: "...the question, will he be bigger? Manny has looked increasingly large in the ring against these opponents. His frame seems to be filling out, he is improving his strength as he carries a little more weight. He certainly hasn’t shown signs that he has lost anything by moving up, in fact quite the opposite, he seems to be getting better as he moves up. There is something special about this guy. He’s got everything and still getting better, he feels like he is right in the prime of his career."
Greenburg then added: "And Cotto, has shown a relentless attack his entire career. His only loss was to a suspect Margarito. People except Cotto to bring the fight right to Manny from the opening bell."
