We all want it and keep our fingers crossed, we may even get it. I am talking about the super mega match up between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. ESPN is confirming that negotiations for the two fighters has officially begun Today, Monday.

Richard Schaefer, who is highly respected in the Boxing World and represents Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions as the CEO, tells ESPN that he is representing Floyd Mayweather Jr. and they are very
serious about negotiating a fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Although Golden Boy Promotions does not have Mayweather Jr. under contract, they have represented Mayweather Jr. in past fights and have been asked to once again to represent Mayweather Jr. in the negotiations.

Schaefer confirmed to ESPN that he was on his way from L.A. to Las Vegas to meet with Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum. Schaefer and Arum have plans to meet at the MGM Grand. The two will have lunch and start negotiating the fight.

Schaefer, speaking to ESPN stated: "Floyd and me want to see if we can get the fight done. The fact that I am flying to Las Vegas to meet with Bob shows you how serious our side is about making the fight."
