It seems pretty certain that Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be taking on Manny Pacquiao on March 13th of 2010. With large amounts of money on the line, really the only question remaining is what venue the mega event will be held at? The two sites being thrown around have MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas. It now seem however the Dallas Cowboys Stadium may be out of the running, leaving the MGM Grand as the favorite to host the highly anticipated event.

Quoted in the press, Promoter Bob Arum is upset that he had to cancel a meeting with NFL Dallas Cowboy's owner and general manager Jerry Jones at the last minute on Wednesday because Floyd Mayweather Jr's promoter decided they do not want the fight held at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

Arum emphasized to the AP that he very embarrassed over the cancellation of the meeting. Jones was preparing to give Arum a tour of the new Stadium which cost 1.2 billion, and as well was going to be making his offer to have the fight hosted at the Stadium.

Arum upset and embarrassed over the last minute cancellation stated: "The man (Jones) changed his whole schedule for this and you certainly want to listen to the man."

As of this moment it truly seems the Dallas Cowboys Stadium is out of the running and it looks like the fight could be landing in the MGM Grand in Vegas.
