According to a recent report by the Las Vegas Review Journal, two men that were the targeted of a shooting back on August 23rd of this year outside a Las Vegas roller rink, are expressing their frustration that the case remains unsolved. The case remains unsolved even though police have described the suspect in their investigation as a "known associate" of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The two men, Damein Bland, 36, and Quincey Williams, 25, tell the publication that they believe Las Vegas
police have more than enough evidence to arrest the person who shot numerous times in their direction. Police investigating the shooting have identified the person to be the shooter only as "O.C.". He is described as 6 ft in height, black with Brown eyes and around the vicinity of 220 pounds. The shooting occurred shortly after the two men had a verbal confrontation at the roller rink with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The men were inside Bland's parked BMW 650 when it was struck by six bullets. Thankfully no one was injured in the shooting.

The men complained that the wheels of justice are moving slowly and that Mayweather should be scrutinized in the investigation. Mayweather has not been named by police as a suspect.

Williams quoted by the Las Vegas Review, stated: "I guess the justice system only works when you're a high-profile person and you have millions of dollars."

In regards to the shooting incident, Leonard Ellerbe, personal adviser and well respected in the boxing community denies Mayweather Jr. had anything to do with the shooting. Ellerbe stated: "Floyd Mayweather had nothing to do with the alleged incident at the skating rink." Mayweather's personal attorney, Richard Wright, was blunt, stating that the two men who are trying to accuse Mayweather Jr. "Are mistaken."

My opinion: A crime was committed, but I am willing to bet that if Police thought Mayweather Jr. was involved, they wouldn't think twice about taking down a high profile guy such as he is. If police thought Mayweather Jr. was a Bad boy in this case... they would go after him for sure. If Police had one shred of evidence against Mayweather Jr., they would have used it on him.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his team are in negotiations for a proposed March 13th HBO Pay-Per-View event against Manny Pacquiao.
