According to reports published by the Canadian Press, on Friday Arturo Gatti was released from Jail after spending a few nights. Gatti was jailed after failing to not show up to Court on April 7th, a date he was required to do so. The former Champ was released from Jail after posting a $2000 bail. Gatti is due back in court on June 5th.

Gatti was first arrested by Police last month over assault. Police charged Gatti for assault on his girlfriend. Gatti was to be in Court on April 7th for his arraignment, but neither Gatti or his Lawyer showed up. The Court issued a warrant
for his arrest.

This past Wednesday night at a strip Club, Police finally caught up with Gatti and arrested him. Gatti reportedly was celebrating his 37th Birthday at the strip club.

Conditions of his bail release reportedly have Gatti promising not to consume drugs or alcohol. He must also stay away from his ex-girlfriend as well as her son.
