UFC: Matt Hughes disses Anderson Silva

Matt Hughes isn't impressed by Anderson Silva's performance against Thales Leites at UFC 97 this past Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Hughes, the former UFC welterweight champion, who watched the live UFC telecast at a friend's house, disliked what he saw from both fighters, especially Anderson. Anderson won a decision over Leites but has received a lot of criticism for fighting a lethargic battle.
Hughes on his most recent blog wrote that he was not impressed with the fight and was disappointed with Anderson's void of aggression. "I really disliked it when Thales would just fall to his butt and expect Anderson to jump on top of him, but even more disappointing was Anderson's lack of aggressiveness," stated Hughes, who added that Anderson never looked like he wanted to end the match.
Hughes stated it wasn't the first time Anderson has disappointed him, stating his fight against Patrick Cote at UFC 90 was basically the same thing.
Hughes went on to diss Anderson, stating the next time Anderson fights, he can at least expect a washroom or refreshment break. Hughes wrote: "Next time we have a party and Anderson is on the card... well, I'll just say that at least I can expect to take a bathroom break or to go grab a refreshment when it comes time for him to fight."
Aside from Hughes, UFC President Dana White has also been very vocal about his displeasure at watching Anderson's performance on Saturday.
