Ricky Hatton Hospitalized after being KO'ed by Manny Pacquiao!

Shortly after losing by a stunning knock out in the second round against Manny Pacquiao, Ricky Hatton was Hospitalized. Hatton who was knocked out with 7 seconds remaining in the 2nd round on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, laid on the canvas for a couple of minutes before being helped up to his stool. As a precautionary measure, Hatton was taken to Valley Hospital to have test run on him. Hatton's head hit the canvas hard and there is always fear of swelling or bleeding in the brain for any fighter who suffers a brutal knock out.

Shortly after the fight, Hatton refused to speak with HBO commentator Larry Merchant because he wasn't feeling well. Before going to the hospital, Hatton finally spoke to the media. Hatton said he was ok and that he didn't see the punch coming. Hatton further stated the punch was a "great shot."

After the fight, Hatton's trainer, Floyd Mayweather Sr. stated that he feels it is time for Hatton to hang up the gloves. Mayweather Sr. stated: "I would suggest he retire. At the end of the day it's his decision."
