By Johnny Benz, Benz Report for Doghouse Boxing (July 4, 2009)
Johnny Tapia's 29-year-old cousin Aurthur Chavez has been missing since last being seen on June 6th. Almost a month has passed since the last time Chavez was seen leaving a Red River bar called Bull O' the Woods Saloon.

Tapia will join the Chavez family in the Red River's 4th of July parade. At the parade they will be holding pictures and fliers on Chavez. They are hoping to use their July 4th weekend generating new leads in the case.

Tapia who lost his mother when he was 8 years old when she was stabbed to death, a crime that took over two decades to solve, tells KOB-TV: "I know the feeling that they're going through and how rough it really is for them to not solve a story."

There is a $20,000 reward being offered for information leading to Chavez' whereabouts.
