Yahoo recognizes Arturo Gatti's Murder! Not only the Boxing World in mourning...but the World!

With the sad news of Arturo Gatti's death, not only is the whole boxing world mourning such a tragic loss, but the world is also taking note. Today on Yahoo.com's homepage, one of the main features stories has been on Gatti's death. (See photo on this page).

Yahoo's homepage is the most trafficked page on the globe. Don't just take my word for it, visit Alexa.com and Quantcast.com (independent internet research sites) and see Yahoo.com's ranking for yourself.

According to reports, Police have now in custody Gatti's wife, Amanda Rodrigues, as a main suspect in the murder of Gatti. Gatti was found in dead his underwear in a posh hotel in Brazil. Police stated that blood was found on his neck and the back of his head. Police are testing a purse strap that belonged to Rodrigues to see if it was a weapon used to strangle Gatti.

*Please note, Gatti's wife is presumed innocent until found guilty.

With Gatti's untimely death, the world has taken note of one of Boxing's all time favorite son's passing. Searches on Yahoo.com for Gatti have propelled the legend to the main feature on Yahoo.com. It's a testament to just how popular and loved Gatti was.

If Gatti wasn't so popular, his death would never have become the lead story on Yahoo.com.

Rest in Peace Champ! Not just the Boxing world is in mourning.
