Lamont Peterson proved he is one of the best fighters in the world at 140 pounds on Saturday night in a dominant performance in front of his hometown crowd in Washington D.C. as he defeated Dierry Jean to retain his IBF Junior Welterweight World Championship. In the SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING co-main event, the young and talented Jermell Charlo remained undefeated with a convincing 10-round decision over tough veteran Gabriel Rosado.
The action-packed doubleheader will replay tomorrow/Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME EXTREME.
