EDITION OF LA FIGHT CLUB DELIVERS A NIGHT OF POWER-PACKED FIGHTS IN FRONT OF A ROARING CROWD Televised Live on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Deportes from The Belasco Theater in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (April 3) -The second installment of Golden Boy Promotions' LA FIGHT CLUB on April 2, delivered an electric night of boxing in front of a cheering crowd of spectators. Live on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes the night brought out some of Tinseltown's A-listers. Latin star Kate Del Castillo, KIIS FM's Ellen K, Extra's Mario Lopez, MMA royalty Ronda Rousey, television and radio host Jillian Barberie, along with the who's who of Golden Boy's stable of fighters, all joined Oscar De La Hoya at the historic The Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles.

The main event featured East Los Angeles native and boxing legacy Julian "El Camarón" Ramirez (14-0, 8 KOs) who delivered an exciting night as faced off against Casas Grandes, Mexico's Raul "Bule" Hidalgo (23-13, 17 KOs) in a 10-round featherweight fight. Ramirez' hard punches, impressive combinations and use of the ropes out-box the seasoned Hidalgo. After 10 exciting rounds, "El Camarón" was victorious winning the bout via unanimous decision.

"Hildalgo has a lot of experience and I definitely learned from him tonight," said Julian Ramirez. "It was tough working the inside which was my plan, Hidalgo is a tough fighter and in good condition. No fight is easy and I want to keep facing tough opponents and beat them."

"I want to fight the best and Julian challenged me tonight," said Raul Hidalgo. "Julian was fast and a hard puncher and tonight was not my night. I want to continue to challenge myself and fight the best will only help me get better."

In the co-main event of the night, 2008 Brazilian Olympic Bronze Medalist Yamaguchi Falcao (5-0, 2 KOs) faced Deartie "Vicious" Tucker (2-1, 2 KOs) of Fort Smith, Arkansas in a scheduled six-round middleweight bout. The exciting fight went the distance with both fighters aggressively charging at each other. Ultimately, Falcao was victorious, winning the fight by unanimous decision.

"I am happy about the win but this fight surprised me," said Yamaguchi Falcao. "I couldn't find my rhythm. I need to go back to the gym and train harder so the fans can see the real Yamaguchi."

"I am feeling good," said Deartie Tucker. "I am proud of myself for going the full six rounds, I know I lost but I am feeling good."

In the first televised bout of the night, Brazil's Everton Lopes (2-0, 1 KOs) faced Robert Seyam (2-3, 2 KOs) of Wichita, Kansas in scheduled a six-round super lightweight bout. Full of energy, Lopes delivered a devastating blow to Seyam in the abdomen, winning the fight by knockout in the first round.

"I am very happy with the result and the knockout," said Everton Lopes. "I have been working very hard for this and I am ready for my next fight."

Joet Gonzalez (9-0, 4 KOs) of Glendora, California faced Tijuana, Baja, California's Ali Gonzalez (6-6-1, 1 KOs) in a scheduled six-round featherweight fight. Joet showed the fans his power when a he unleashed a flurry of punches in the second round against Ali Gonzalez to win the fight by knockout in the second round.

"I was pumped for the fight," said Joet Gonzalez. "A lot of people came out to see me. It was my first fight under Golden Boy Promotions, and I knew I had to impress them. I just took it as another fight and I can't wait to get back in the ring."

Opening up the night, Melsik Baghdasaryan (1-0, 1 KOs) gave the crowd something to cheer for as his speed and hard punches brought Mario Angeles (1-7-2) to the ground twice in the first round. Baghdasaryan was able to overwhelm Angeles to win the fight by technical knockout in the third round, impressing the crowd in his professional debut.

"I'm a former kickboxing champion, and boxing is very different, said Melsik Baghdasaryan. "I have to relax and focus on boxing, throwing combinations and moving my feet. In kickboxing we look for the knockout but in boxing you have to be smarter and I am ready to continue boxing. It's a challenge for me and I know I can conquer the sport."

LA FIGHT CLUB: Ramirez vs. Hidalgo was a 10-round featherweight bout presented by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona Extra and Mexico - Live It To Believe It!. Doors opened at 5:00 p.m. and the first bout began at 5:30 p.m. The FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes broadcast aired live at 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT.

The LA FIGHT CLUB is a monthly boxingseries that takes place on the first Thursday of each month on May 7 and June 4. It will showcase the brightest stars in the sport and present these exciting matchups in a nightclub atmosphere with an original setup. The boxing ring will be set on the main floor of the Belasco Theater with on-camera standing room for fans in front of the ring similar to a concert pit, as well as reserved balcony and floor seats. Los Angeles' own DJ Ray of Big Boy's Neighborhood will spin music during the fights and fans will be able to dance and mingle with the fighters when the venue converts into a night club, in a VIP experience not matched by any promoter in the industry.
