We are just weeks away from meeting in Chicago for our 46th annual convention. Things are moving very quickly, and we are just a few tickets away from a sellout for our Dinner Cruise on Lake Michigan, culminating with a tremendous July 4th fireworks show.
The response to attend the convention has been overwhelming, to say the least. The Hyatt-Chicago has informed us that the rooms are going quickly, and only a few corner suites remain. If you have not yet booked your travel, please do so today. We promise you good times, great food, and interesting conversation … and yes, we will be talking a little boxing!
Rick Crocker has acquired a number of historical items that we will be auctioning off prior to our banquet on Saturday evening, July 5th. You can help us by bringing something unique from the area in which you live and donating it to the auction. ALL of the money collected from the auction will go to help others in need.
If you are an official, please do not miss out on this convention! There will be exciting announcements for ALL officials, and the seminar training on Saturday, July 5th, will be required in order for the officials to be recommended for NABF/WBC fight assignments.
We are grateful to our membership. Thank you for your support, and we look forward in getting together again in a few short weeks.
