The IBF Light Heavyweight Champion of the world, Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins has confessed his great LOVE for the African continent calling it "Motherland' and boasting a photo with South African revered Nelson Rohlasasa' Mandela also known as "Madiba"

Hopkins was speaking with Onesmo Alfred Mcbride Ngowi who is the President of IBF Africa, Middle East & Persian Gulf and the Director of the London based Commonwealth Boxing Council (CBC) when they met alongside the IBF/USBA Awarding Dinner Banquet Gala at the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA on May 22nd, 2014.

The photograph shows the two great personalities exchanging pleasantries during the gala. Hopkins enthusiasm to fight in Africa can make it possible for the great battle between against the IBF number 11 rated and Namibian Hurricane Harry Simon also know as "The Terminator"

Bernard Hopkins was one of the great personalities that were awarded by the IBF/USBA at its 31st Awarding Dinner Gala at the Resorts Casino Hotel, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA on May 22nd, 2014. Other great boxers and personalities included Larry Holmes who was the first Heavyweight boxer in history to fight for the IBF world title belt in 1984.

Africa will be following the Bernard Hopkins Romancing with keen interests and a possible tournament in the "MOTHERLAND" would rejuvenate the boxing stocks for this great continent as a professional sport and help propel this great continent to the global stage.
