"We fought in the amateurs. I won a decision" said Douglas. "I have known him for a long time. He has been around. I just want to get through this with an impressive victory. I just want to move on. I am focused as I fight every fight like it's a world title bout."

Douglas believes that 2015 is a potentially big year for himself as he gets into contention for big fights.

"I hope to be 16 or 17-0 by this time next year. The more I fight and busier I am will make me better. I just signed with Al Haymon and I know he will keep me busy. I want to impress with a knockout. If I continue to do that, I will be known as one of those top prospects."

"I will show everybody that I have a lot of speed, smarts and ring savvy. I dedicate everything I do to boxing."
