The Vegas Odds for the Jermain Taylor vs. Carl Froch fight have as Taylor as a -140 MONEYLINE boxing betting favorite.

This is the biggest test of the 31-year Froch’s career and the confident British fighter plans on making the most of it. The stylish boxer\puncher Froch is a smooth fighter with a nice set of offensive tools at his disposal. The questions surrounding Froch have come on the defensive side of the gloves. Froch is only an average defensive fighter and has had a history of physical injuries. Froch does have a relaxed, awkward style and knows how to think on his feet but the holes in his defense could be problematic against the heavy-handed Taylor. Taylor is a premier athlete that looked much stronger in his last fight at 168 lbs. without having to struggle to make weight. Jermain is a gifted boxer\mover with one of the best jabs in the sport of boxing. Taylor’s questions remain on the mental side as many critics wonder if he has recovered from the debilitating 7th round KO he suffered at the hands of Kelly Pavlik 18 months ago.

The Vegas Odds OVER\UNDER for the Jermain Taylor vs. Carl Froch fight is at 10.5 rounds with the OVER at -165.
