The stylish boxer\puncher Froch is an offensive minded fighter with a nice set of offensive tools at his disposal. Froch is slick defensive fighter that knows how to slip, dip, pull, move and counterpunch. Froch has a nice relaxed style and knows how to think on his feet but he can be caught clean with his hands down on occasion. Froch is a physically strong fighter that has great stamina and above-average hand speed. Froch has very-good power when he sits down on his punches but he mainly throws arm punches that still have sting because of his natural strength. Froch does have some durability issues having had numerous physical injuries. The Carl Froch vs. Andre Dirrell Total is at 11.5 rounds with the Over at -120.

Andre Dirrell is fast-twitch athlete that lives, breathes, eats and craps boxing. Dirrell is a tall and elongated switch-hitter that can change stances in a blink an eye and fight equally as well from either side. Dirrell is a cerebral fighter that likes to work from the outside behind a blinding jab that he uses to set up Lamborghini paced combinations. Dirrell knows how to use the ring with excellent footspeed and pivots. On defense Dirrell has superb defensive instincts, top-notch reflexes and smart head movement. On the downside Dirrell is a slow starter that can be caught with his hands down early in fights and he has only an average chin. Dirrell has a long amateur career but he has been largely untested as a pro having fought only 78 rounds against opponents no better than a C+ level.

Boxing Predictions Analysis: Froch will be fighting in front of his home crowd which will do Dirrell no favors but the man called “The Matrix” Dirrell will get the win. Froch is a skilled tough guy but Dirrell is on another level athletically and is technically on par with Froch. Dirrell’s slimy defense will prevent Froch from landing his big shots as he boxes his way to a decision victory.

PLAY: Andre Dirrell +120 (1 UNIT).
