 The "Voice of MMA and the UFC Octagon" has been announcing the undercards of certain HBO Boxing events this year. Bruce Buffer will be announcing the three internationally televised undercard fights of the highly anticipated Klitschko/Sanders HBO Boxing event at STAPLES Arena in Los Angeles Saturday night before his "Ready to Rumble" brother, Michael Buffer, stands center ring to announce the two main HBO televised fights.
Buffer's appearance schedule is very busy with many MMA, Boxing and varied other appearances through to the end of 2004, from his appearing for the LA Avengers half-time show at STAPLES Arena last Friday to announce the "Arm Wrestling League" competition to announcing the "Hockey Gladiators" August pay per view show, in which professional Hockey players in full hockey gear will face each other off on the ice for a 90 second fight to determine an overall tournament winner.
"I've been offered announcing gigs in Boxing before, but only recently have I accepted and it's a pleasure for me to announce on the same HBO card along with my brother Michael. HBO is the best quality provider and producer of televised boxing and Michael is the greatest ring announcer of all time, so as the saying goes, this is an offer I can't refuse, as long as my busy MMA/UFC schedule is open. I also plan to go to Australia in May to announce an MMA event in Melbourne and will be announcing the undercards of the upcoming Roy Jones Jr. and Oscar De la Hoya HBO events plus June 19th's UFC 48, so I've got a pretty exciting couple of months ahead of me," states Bruce Buffer.
