Queensbury, NY – TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions remain active by signing Cruiserweight Prospect DeMarcus Clark and Middleweight Phillip Lars to promotional contracts.
Clark, who resides in Shreveport, Louisiana currently, holds a 1-0 (1 KO) record. His pro debut was a third-round TKO win over Kenny Saavedra on August 19, 2005 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
“DeMarcus is the real deal. In his pro-debut, he was brought in as an opponent for Saavedra and shocked everyone with a TKO win at 1:25 of the third round. All I can say to all the Cruiserweights out there is WATCH-OUT!” stated Bill Calogero, president of TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions.
“I can’t wait for my next fight, it just won’t come fast enough. I believe that I will be a World Champion, period”, Clark said from his home in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Phillip Lars also resides in Shreveport. He will be making his pro debut and feels he is ready to take on the Middleweight division. “Phillip has been working very hard with DeMarcus for a while. He has amateur experience and he should do well in the competitive Middleweight division”, stated Bill Calogero, president of TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions.
Both Clark and Lars are managed by Glen Giles, also from Shreveport.
