Photo 1 - WBC Super Middleweight champ Carl Froch (right) weighed in at 167 ¼ pounds (75.9 kg) and former middleweight champ Mikkel Kessler measured 167 pounds (75.8 kg) during Friday’s weigh-in in Herning, Denmark.

Photo 2 - The two 168-pounders will collide in a Group Stage 2 showdown of the Super Six World Boxing Classic.

The showdown is on Saturday, April 24 on SHOWTIME® (9 p.m., ET/PT, same-day coverage) from MCH Arena, in Herning, Denmark.

A packed crowd of Froch and Kessler supporters filled a conference room at the MCH Herning, the site of tomorrow’s crucial Group Stage 2 bout.

Kessler (42-2, 32 KOs), who has never lost a fight in his native Denmark , needs a victory over Froch (26-0, 20 KOs ) to get on the board in the cumulative points-based tournament.

Kessler, who is hoping to earn back the WBC belt he lost to Joe Calzaghe in 2007, is coming off of a Group Stage 1 upset loss to 2004 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Andre Ward in which he lost the WBA 168-pound title.

Froch, who defeated American Andre Dirrell in Group Stage 1, can take the points lead in the tournament with a win over his European rival.

Froch, of Nottingham , England , may be fighting in enemy territory on Saturday night, but he brought a legion of fans with him including his model-girlfriend Rachael Cordingley.
