Urbano Antillon vs Miguel Acosta

Antillon (26-0, 19 KOs), a native of Mexico who fights out of Maywood, is deep into training for his World Boxing Association (WBA) interim lightweight title challenge against Top-10 contender Miguel “Aguacerito” Acosta (25-9-2, 19 KOs). Antillon has won his last nine bouts by knockout while Acosta enters this fight riding a five-year, 16-bout winning streak – 11 by knockout.

The Antillon-Acosta world title fight is one of four main event bouts headlining “Latin Fury 10” – the world championship extravaganza. “Latin Fury 10,” which takes place Saturday, July 25, will also feature undefeated Top-Five super welterweight contender and son of the legend, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr., of Mexico, in a 10-round super welterweight rumble with Jason “The Hammer” Lehoullier, from Portland, ME; WBA light flyweight champion Giovani Segura, of Mexico, defending his title against Filipino fireball Sonny Boy Jaro; and World Boxing Organization (WBO) Latino junior bantamweight champion Alberto Rosas, of Mexico, battling Alejandro Martinez, of Costa Rica, in a 12-round title bout.
