Clifford "The Black Rhino" Etienne
According to the Baton Rouge Advocate, former heavyweight contender Clifford "The Black Rhino" Etienne is back in trouble with the law after an alleged attempted armed robbery and murder on Wednesday. Etienne was charged with counts of armed robbery, attempted first-degree murder of a police officer and three other counts, and is currently being held in jail.

Etienne had previously served ten years of a 40 year sentence for armed robbery. After his release from prison, Etienne compiled an unbeaten record that included a win over current WBO heavyweight champ Lamon Brewster, but after a 2001 TKO loss to Fres Oquendo, his career went on a slide, though he did pick up a nice payday in a KO loss to Mike Tyson. Etienne, whose record stands at 29-4-2 with 20 KOs, had been stopped in the third round in his last two bouts, against Calvin Brock and Nicolay Valuev.
