Mayweather Sr says Greedy Little Floyd getting Knocked Out
By DHB (Nov 15, 2006)
Although Floyd Mayweather Sr has not yet signed a contract to work for Oscar De La Hoya in his May 5th battle against Mayweather Sr's son, Mayweather Sr says his son is making a mistake and will end up on his butt, knocked out.
Mayweather Sr quoted by Kevin Iole of the Las Vegas Review-Journal dissed his son for being greedy, saying: "This is a case of greed overcoming common sense. He's going to pay for getting greedy. He sees those
dollars, but it's not about him wanting to fight Oscar, it's about him wanting to hurt his daddy.
Mayweather Sr had a warning for his son, adding: "But he's going to have a surprise, because little Floyd is going to wind up on his ass. Little Floyd is fighting out of his weight class. Oscar definitely would knock him out." Mayweather Sr then added: "Once in a while, the good little man beats a bigger man, but that's usually when the little man has way, way, way more talent. But that's not the case here."
