Spadafora Charged and Arrested with Attempted Homicide

Police issued an arrest warrant for Paul Spadafora in connection with a shooting. The 20-year-old victim, who Police say is Paul’s girlfriend, was shot in the chest critically wounding her following an argument at a gas station just outside Pittsburgh at around 6 a.m. EST on Sunday..

Allegheny County police issued an arrest warrant for Spadafora which charges the boxer with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, the violation of firearms laws and at this moment attempted homicide.

Police did have Spadafora in custody shortly after the shooting Sunday morning and interviewed the Boxer. However at that time Police did not detain him.

According to early reports Spadafora's promoter, Michael Acri indicated the woman is in stable condition. Acri, said Paul told police a man approached him in his car and at that time then fired a weapon, striking the woman.

Sunday night Police were searching for Spadafora's whereabouts until about 8:30 p.m. following a traffic stop near his home where Spadafora was arrested without incident.

On Friday, Spadafora was arrested and charged in another act. Police charged Paul with public lewdness and intoxication when they spotted him urinating on a public street. (SEE OUR REPORT)

Lawyers for Paul Spadafora in regards to the shooting have yet to comment.
