According to reports now circulating in main stream media, Jermain Taylor has been arrested. Police in Little Rock are conducting an ongoing investigation into a shooting that happened at Taylor's place of residency and as a result, Taylor has been arrested. (See police mug shot below).
According to Carl Minden (Pulaski County Sheriff's Lt.) Taylor was at home when the shooting occurred. It is being reported and confirmed by Minden that Taylor was not hurt.
According to what information Police have released, the shooting happened at around 6 p.m. Police responded to a 911 call from Taylor's home indicating an intruder. The call was placed by Taylor's wife. Police found the intruder a few blocks away. He was at a store (Dollar General) suffering from a gun shot.

At this time police have not released the name or condition of the person shot, however local News out of Little Rock is reporting that it was Taylor's cousin who was shot and that according to Lt. Minden, Jermain Taylor has now been arrested. Taylor was arrested on one count of battery first degree and one count of aggravated assault after reportedly shooting his cousin (some reports say it was multiple gunshots).
Police say Taylor is being held without bail pending a first court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
