Video Below: "Sugar" Shane Mosley Interview on Pacquiao vs. Mayweather and more.
"Sugar" Shane Mosley has faced off against both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley certainly has a unique perspective on both fighters. He knows what it was like to not only fight each of them, but what it was like at the negotiating table. A lot of factors play a role, and Mosley feels that Mayweather's undefeated record vs. Pacquiao (who got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez) makes things even harder. Mosley also gives the edge to Mayweather should a fight with Pacquiao become a reality and he explains why in this brand new video interview. Read on for more quotes from the Q&A and check out the video embedded to the left to see and hear it all.
Mosley states:
"It's kind of hard to negotiate with anybody. With Floyd now that he is undefeated and has a lot of victories, it's probably going to be harder to negotiate being that Pacquiao got knocked out in his fight with (Juan Manuel) Marquez, a person that Floyd beat." - He continues with talk on the TV Networks, Bob Arum, Al Haymon and other factors.
Who does Mosley feel will win?: I lean more towards Mayweather because of his movement, his speed, his I.Q. of boxing. Manny Pacquiao is a good fighter and he fights well and anything can happen. I believe he gives Mayweather a little bit of problems, maybe because of the southpaw."
Mosley also says the he was hurt (injured) going into the fights with both Pacquiao and Mayweather and would be willing to fight them again. He explains the injuries he had as well as an amazing punch he landed on Mayweather.
