Both Peter Quillin and Andy Lee put on a great show this weekend on NBC. After 12 rounds of good action, both walked away from a split decision draw. In the fight, Quillin tasted the canvas for the first time in his career. In this post fight interview, Quillin talks about hitting the deck as well as having issues making weight.
Regarding being dropped in the fight, Quillin states: "I tried to do whatever it takes to show people I was willing to try. His was a timed punch. He hit me with it at the right time."
Quillin adds: "Like I said, you can't have the perfect story."
