ESPN commentator Teddy Atlas believes Floyd Mayweather Jr. will retire but only for a year or so. Atlas thinks Mayweather Jr. will retire for a year or so and then make a comeback, and Atlas wants that comeback to be against Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

In this new video interview (embedded to the left and provided to us from FightHype.com), regarding Mayweather taking off a year, Atlas states: "I think he's going to go away like he did once before. Maybe he'll be away a year and then he'll come back."

Should Mayweather make a comeback, Atlas wants the fight to be against Gennady Golovkin. Atlas states: "Golovkin, if Golovkin is still undefeated at that time. He's got the speed and the smarts to probably outsmart if he's as great as everyone thinks he is."

Check out everything Atlas had to say as he shares his thoughts and views on what future may hold for Mayweather Jr.
