Bob Arum confirmed to Maxboxing.com around 9 p.m. that the proposed bout between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is off. All the veteran promoter could really say is,"Floyd backed out of the fight."
This fight was to have taken place on March 13th in Las Vegas.
One source says that while Pacquiao’s team was willing to have blood drawn up until 24 days before the fight( like he did prior to his fight with Ricky Hatton), Mayweather wanted testing to take place all the way till the fight.
