Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley

Tim Bradley is signed, sealed and delivered to face Manny Pacquiao for his WBO welterweight title on June 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. ’the Desert Storm’ who was inked to a promotional pact by Top Rank over the fall, fought the well-faded Joel Casamayor on Nov. 12th of the Pacquiao-Marquez undercard. He is reportedly set to receive a $5 million guarantee to face ’the Pac Man’.

I know some don’t like this match-up, personally, I have no problems with it. Bradley is an accomplished fighter and in his physical prime- and just as importantly to me, it’s a new, fresh match-up.I honestly think Bradley can trouble Pacquiao, who hasn’t exactly set the world on fire his last couple of outings.

But with that being said, there is a marketability gap with Bradley and there is a question of just how well this will do on pay-per-view. I would hope Top Rank makes up for some of it by putting on a quality undercard.
