Spoke with Golden Boy Promotions matchmaker,
Eric Gomez, who told me that he continues to talk with representative of
WBC featherweight titlist, Jhonny Gonzalez, in the hopes of making a
fight for Daniel Ponce de Leon.
He told me that after Gonzalez takes
care of his mandatory, a fight in September on their pay-per-view card
is a possibility.
Gonzalez-Ponce de Leon is a fun fight.
