Will Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito Exceed Joshua Clottey? Bob Arum Answers Question and More

Tickets for the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito fight on November 13th at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas went on sale last weekend. When asked how they are selling, Arum stated, "Strong. We have just under a 1,000 tickets on the floor left. We started with about 8,000; we have less than a 1,000 left and the seats are selling very, very strong. We still have plenty of 50s and 100s and some 200s in the stands. But everything on the floor will be gone, I think, in a week."

Right around 50,000 patrons were in the house back in March, when the “Pac-Man” faced Joshua Clottey. Will they exceed that number this time around?

"I believe that we will, yeah," answered Arum. "I believe that we'll do between 60,000 and 70,000."

And Top Rank is putting the finishing touches on their December 4th pay-per-view show that is headlined by Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.'s battle against Alfonso Gomez from the Honda Center in Anaheim. It's the company’s first show in nearly two years in the “Golden State.” Arum says that they had no reservations of going back to Cali.

"No, now that the Margarito thing is in the rear-view mirror, we certainly have no objections in renewing our California license and promoting in California," said Arum. "We never had any problems in California, ever." .
