Floyd Mayweather returning to the Boxing Ring in February?

Just a week or so after making an announcement
that he would be returning to fight on May 5th at the MGM Grand, Floyd
Mayweather in this interview: worldstarhiphop.com/vid stated that he would be returning in February. Folks, don’t even ask, I have no idea what’s going on here.
But if that’s to be taken on face value, you can rule out a fight with Manny Pacquiao on that date.
As for Pacquiao/Mayweather, here’s a Doomsday scenario, what if both
camps want May 5th but face separate opponents. Mayweather vs TBA and a
fourth edition of Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez (which fits perfectly on Cinco De
Mayo). Which bout would end up at the MGM Grand?
But I seriously doubt if the pay-per-view industry would put up with
such tomfoolery. But I don’t put this past anyone in boxing.
- Had a text exchange with Vince Parra, the trainer/manager of
lightweight Mercito Gesta, he made it unequivocally clear that if
offered the fight with WBA belt-holder Brandon Rios, they would jump at
the chance to face him next.( November 14th, 4:15 pm, PT)
