Freddie Roach on Manny Pacquiao's Left Turns in Marquez fight

While at the Wild Card Boxing Club on Tuesday morning, I asked trainer Freddie Roach why Manny Pacquiao kept moving toward his left against Juan Manuel Marquez (instead of moving the opposite direction away from Marquez’s right hand) and Roach just shook his head in disgust.

“All camp, we worked on moving to the right. Never did we go to the left,” explained Roach, who credited Marquez with outmaneuvering his fighter inside the ring.
