Antonio Margarito vs Miguel Cotto on the Move?

Even though the official announcement / decision
wont be made till tomorrow at 11 pm, ET by the New York commission, all
indications are that the highly anticipated rematch between Antonio
Margarito and Miguel Cotto will not take place in the Big Apple (boxing/margarito) due to licensing issues regarding Margarito and his surgically repaired right eye.
Top Rank is now in the process of preparing for the worst and looking
for alternate sites. Cities like Denver have been mentioned as has
Mississippi (cbssports.com/boxing/story ). And don’t count on Jerry Jones and his palatial Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
But it’s really a shame, part of the appeal of this fight at the
Madison Square Garden was the great atmosphere and the Puerto Rican
fan-base that wanted revenge and blood on Margarito. It’s still a great
card, but it really belonged in New York. .
