Schaefer excited about his Boxing crew of fighters between 140-147

Richard Schaefer
(CEO for Golden Boy Promotions) spoke excitedly to me about his crew of fighters between 140-147 lbs. that includes the
likes of Erik Morales, Devon Alexander, Marcos Maidana, Danny
Garcia, Lucas Matthysse, Robert Guerrero, Humberto Soto and Paulie Malignaggi.
He says, “You can pretty much mix and match.”
One
fight is already a focus of his.
“Marcos
Maidana has been talking about moving up to 147, so we'd love to see a fight
between, let's say, a Devon Alexander,” said Schaefer, who says both parties
have expressed interest in facing each other and have agreed in principle to
the fight. “That would be an extremely interesting match-up.”
