I figure Manny Pacquiao will try to overwhelm Miguel Cotto with his hand/footspeed and combos early in the fight and take him out early, which he might just be able to do. However, if Cotto can make it to, say, the 5th or 6th round without taking a serious amount of punishment I can see him imposing his strength and size on Pacquiao, and chopping him down on route to a late stoppage.
I wouldn't be shocked to see it go either way, but as the fight gets closer, I can't help but think that this fight could make
or break Cotto's career, and Cotto knows this.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao's people have been (I'm guessing) whispering in his ear that he's the best P4P fighter in the world and maybe Manny has let that get to his head somewhat. Even if that's not the case with Pacquiao, I still think that Cotto will be the hungrier, more determined fighter on Saturday, and so he's got my pick.
