Tyson Fury had a frustrating 2013. He beat
former cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham in an exciting up and
down tussle that was shown live on network TV in the States, then he we
was scheduled to face David Haye in a massive all british showdown. Haye
pulled out of the fight due to a cut sustained in sparring and the
rescheduled date of February 2014 was scrapped when Haye elected for
shoulder surgery that could in effect end his career.
It was claimed by Fury that he himself had retired but according to
social networking site Twitter, the 6ft 9" heavyweight has big plans for
2014. And those plans include a rematch with Dereck ’Del Boy’ Chisora, a
man he beat on points in 2011.
Fury called Chisora and a number of other heavyweights out in a recent tweet:
