Former WBO light welterweight champion Vivian Harris, 32-9-2-(19), scored a 10 round majority decision over Jorge “Maromerito” Paez Jr.,37-5-1-(22), at the Arena Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico on Saturday.
Harris, who took the welterweight at short notice, won by scores of 96-94, twice on to judges cards while the third saw the fight even at 95-95.
In the co main event 20 year-old Francisco Rodriguez Jr scored a 10th round tko win over champion Merlito Sabillo to claim the WBO minimumweight title. The time of the stoppage was 1.50.
