Former British, Commonwealth and European light middleweight champion Jamie Moore has been shot in both leg in Marbella, Spain.
The 35 year-old was in Spain working as a trainer to former opponent Matthew Macklin at his MGM gym in Marbella. According to the Manchester Evening News website, the Manchester based British boxer has now left hospital after treatment.
On his Twitter page Macklin tweeted: "Just to let everyone know Jamie Moore is still in hospital but he’s ok."
"He was shot in his legs but the doctors have said there shouldn’t be any serious or permanent damage done."
