The World Boxing Organization has ordered their super bantamweight world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux and mandatory contender Chris Avalos 30 days to negotiate. Rigondeaux’s next defense of the fight will go to purse bids.
The WBO has said a minimum purse bid of $100,000 must be reached.
Rigondeaux knocked out Sod Kokietgym in Macao on July 19.
