Saul Alvarez impressive out boxing and stopping Kermit Cintron

SecondsOut.com - Saul "Canelo" Alvarez stopped Kermit Cintron in the fifth round in Mexico City on Saturday night. With the victory, Alvarez retain his W.B.C. light-middleweight title.

The big punching 21 years old, looked impressive against older more experienced former I.B.F. champion.

Cintron was knocked down late in the fourth round and shipped some very heavy shots in the fifth round before the fight was stopped by the ref at 2:53.

"Canelo” Alvarez improved his unbeaten professional to 39-0-1, (29). Houston, Texas based Cintron, dropped to 33-5-1-(28)
