Of course, Tarver was arrested this weekend for allegedly not paying back a $200k gambling marker to the Wynn Las Vegas back in 2012.

And yesterday outside of Crustacean in Beverly Hills, Iron Mike offered up some incredible free knowledge to the embattled boxer -- it's the best piece of advice we've heard in a long time!

You gotta watch the clip -- especially if you're a gambler.
