This Saturday, July 26 at Madison Square Garden and LIVE on HBO World Championship Boxing ® beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, two-time world champion Daniel "The Real Deal" Geale faces off against the WBA/IBO Middleweight World Champion, Gennady "GGG" Golovkin. In this brand new interview, Geale steps into the Doghouse. Enjoy!

Give the readers you thoughts on your upcoming match-up against Gennady Golovkin.

Daniel Geale:
This is going to be a great fight for the fans and I’m here to prove I’m the best middleweight in the world. Golovkin is one the most feared fighters in boxing but no disrespect…I’m not intimidated by him. It’s going to be a classic boxer vs. puncher type of fight and the fans are going to see a magical night of boxing.

When I spoke with you in 2012, you told me you like to make your statements in the ring. You now have a tough fight coming your way in Golovkin. What statement do you feel you will make with a victory over him?

Daniel Geale:
A victory will solidify my status as the best 160 pounder in the world which is a huge statement in itself. No one has been able to defeat Golovkin so I plan to shock the world. He’s the favorite and I relish the thought of being the underdog going into this fight. I’m motivated to prove everyone wrong.

I have to ask this question, Golovkin is one hard hitter, he has stopped twenty-six of his twenty-nine opponents and has went on a sixteen fight streak that has all ended before the final bell. Being completely honest. Is his power a concern?

Daniel Geale:
His power is what he’s know for but he also has good footwork and knows how to box, so I have to be aware of everything, not just his power. I’ll be making adjustments as the fight goes on. People forget, he’s stepping up in competition by facing me, and he’ll have to deal with my style as well.

Without giving away your game plan, what do you feel are your keys to victory?

Daniel Geale:
The most important thing I have to do is listen to my corner and follow the game plan. If I do that then I’m confident I’ll come out on top.

What can the fight fans expect from you come fight night?

Daniel Geale:
The fans can expect to see me at my optimum prime.

Any message in closing you would like to send out to your upcoming opponent or the fight world in general?

Daniel Geale:
The fight is here now and I’ll do my talking in the ring. I want to thank all my fans back home in Australia and around the world for all their support. I also want to thank my US promoter Gary Shaw for getting me back on HBO. I couldn't ask for a better promotional team with Gary Shaw and Garrie Francisco. Thank you.
