It was recently announced that the former undisputed heavyweight champion, Riddick Bowe, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. The once beaten former champion has been out of the boxing limelight for years now, but, is thankful that the boxing community still shows him love. Bowe speaks out on his induction, him getting awarded his WBC belt back and more. Enjoy!

First off, congratulations on your upcoming induction in the Hall of Fame.
Riddick Bowe Oh, thank you. It is truly a blessing. It is great, I feel like it is an honor to be in there with the likes of Ali, Louis, Fraizer and Holmes. It is great.

RB Twenty-five years, it is amazing they gave it back to me. It is a blessing, yes indeed.

How has life been after boxing?

I just keep rolling with the punches.

What legacy do you feel you left in boxing?
RB
I was a fighter, they knew when they came to see me, they was going to see a fight. I was a champion.

Your thoughts on today's heavyweight division.
RB
I really don't think about it much. There are a few fighters in today's heavyweight division who maybe could have handled themselves when I was fighting. But most of them are garbage.
