Peter Quillin: “I am a problem for anybody that gets in front of me!”
Interview By Benny Henderson Jr (Jan 9, 2008) Doghouse Boxing
Doghouse Boxing just recently caught up with the undefeated super middleweight sensation Peter ‘Kid Chocolate’ Quillin, 16-0 (13), who is coming off an immense 2007, and has his sights set on an even bigger 2008.

Quillin banged out eight wins (five via knockout) for 2007, and closed out the year with a bang stopping the thirty-five fight veteran Troy Lowry in just two rounds. The Brooklyn boxer has had nothing but success this far throughout his career, and the twenty-year old wants to continue his dominance beginning February 23rd at the famed
Madison Square Garden in New York City.

In this exclusive interview conducted by Doghouse Boxing, ‘Kid Chocolate’ speaks out on the past year and breaks down his future, enjoy.

Benny Henderson Jr.: Peter, first off thanks for coming back to the Doghouse my man, how are you my brother?

Peter Quillin: Thank you for letting me speak to the Doghouse. Everything is going great, as you know I finished 2007 with a great win against a very tough opponent, a good stepping stone for me to be stepping into 2008 with. I feel great and I am coming off a fresh win and I am going back hopefully for another win February 23rd at the Garden.

BH: Any news on an opponent yet?

PQ:
As of now we really don’t have an opponent for me, but like I said kKid Chocolate is in the gym and I am prepared
for anybody who steps in front of me. I am trying to establish that I am more of a problem, more than a middleweight contender or pretender or whatever you want to call it, I am more of a problem for anybody that they want to put in front of me.

BH: You said that you are more of a problem for them?

PQ:
I am a problem for them, I am a winner; I am not a loser, this is something that I live and love to do.

BH: What a year 2007 was for yourself, you had eight wins with five knockouts, over very credible opposition, what grade would you give ‘Kid Chocolate’?

PQ:
I give myself a B-, I have learned on the job; I am trying to establish myself for 2008 so I can see where I am going to be standing at.

BH: Again ’07 was a great year Peter Quillin, what is your outlook for 2008?

PQ
: I am looking to be fighting for a title at the end of the year or to put myself in the position to be fighting for a title. I want to make tons of money so I can help my family and bless those that are unfortunate, to help those in need. Maybe God has put me on a pedestal to show people what He was done for me, that He worked a miracle on me an I think He still has a lot of work to do on me, I am just going to speak that every chance that I get.

BH: Is there anything you would like to add in closing of this interview?

PQ:
First of all Big Dog I just want to thank Doghouse Boxing for giving me a call while I am walking through Target, where we can talk it and do a quick interview and show what type of people’s champ that I am. You are more than welcome to give me a call whenever, I will accept every one of your calls. I want to thank all of fans all around the world for following the Kid Chocolate.

I would like to thank Peter Quillin for taking the time out to speak to Doghouse Boxing.
