Ajose Olusegun
The undefeated 140-pound contender Ajose Olusegun 30-0 (14) is salivating for his shot at a world title, and if all goes as planned, the number one ranked Nigerian born boxer will get his chance out of the winner of Erik Morales vs. Danny Garcia. The thirty-two year old savvy southpaw is not afraid to speak his mind and in this exclusive interview, he speaks out on his career, the future as well as his foes, enjoy.

Benny Henderson Jr.: Welcome to DoghouseBoxing.com. Can you tell our readers what the latest with your career?

Ajose Olusegun:
Thanks. Just chilling and waiting to beat the winner of Morales vs. Garcia. It's been frustrating not getting the right fight but hopefully, I will get my shot now as I am the mandatory challenger.

BH: It seems that all the top fighters at junior welterweight (140 lbs) are looking the other direction when your name comes up. What are your thoughts on that?

AO:
I can understand why they are looking the other way when they hear Ajose. They know I'll whip their backside, so they are scared!

BH: You’re ranked #1 by the WBC. Do you think they'll give you a shot at the winner of Erik Morales vs. Danny Garcia?

AO:
Ordinarily, the winner would not want to fight me but the winner will only have two options which are, one, fight me, or two, vacate the title. So I am sure I will finally get my shot.

BH: How frustrating is it knowing your next in line to fight for WBC the title, but you haven't been given the opportunity as of now?

AO:
It is very frustrating as I know I can beat the so called "champion" but I didn't get the chance to prove myself. Hopefully, that would change soon.

BH: When can we expect you back in the ring?

AO:
I should be showcasing my talent again sometimes around the summer.

BH: Has your promoter Lou DiBella given you any names?

AO:
He doesn't have to, as I and everyone knows that my next fight will be against Morales or Garcia.

BH: Any last words you want to express to the fans?

AO:
Thanks for all the supports and I will never disappoint. Peace.
