Pacman doesn’t need Mayweather as much as Mayweather needs Pacman

Mayweather and Pacquiao
Mayweather and Pacquiao

This fight was a big topic once upon a time. When Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in December of 2012 the interest in this fight faded away for me.

The fight I want to see is Gennady “GGG” Golovkin vs Mayweather at 154 for Mayweather’s two titles! Mayweather would not give Paul Williams a title fight despite the man winning elimination bouts. He wouldn’t fight Antonio Margarito.

Golovkin will fight anyone from 154 to 168 and that includes Mayweather and Andre Ward the two best at those weights. The other middleweight champs will not fight Golovkin in a unification bout. So how does he increase his P4P status if they won’t sign on the dotted line instead of mouthing off they would fight him! He is the most feared boxer in boxing today!

Amir Khan, Danny Garcia, or Saul Alvarez? The WBC and WBA are the titles Mayweather holds. He beat "Canelo" Alvarez 12 out of 12 rounds. I would have fined Alvarez for “not fighting to win”! He is top contender in both of the WBC and WBA so either should drop Mayweather from the 154 since he holds the 147 titles in both organizations or make him fight GGG. Keith Thurman is his No. 1 contender at 147 in the WBA and may or may not be experienced enough but give him a shot. Khan can fight Kell. K9 and Andrade can unify the 154’s or Brook at 147.

Pacman doesn’t need Mayweather as much as Mayweather needs Pacman.
