Philadelphia’s USBA featherweight champion Eric “The Outlaw” Hunter, 19-3 (10), headlines Tuesday at the 2300 Arena in South Philly against the WBC Silver super featherweight champion Rene Alvarado, 21-3 (14), of Nicaragua in a 10 round main event.

This is a Golden Boy and Joe Hand Promotion with J Russell Peltz, Brittany Rogers and Robert Diaz as matchmakers. Fox Sports 1 Airing.

In a 10 round co-feature New Jersey’s Michael “The Artist Angel” Perez, 21-2-1 (10), of Newark, the WBA Fedelatin super lightweight champion is unbeaten in his last seven fights including a draw. He will be taking on the former WBA lightweight champion Miguel Acosta, 29-7-2 (23), of Venezuela now residing and making his Philadelphia debut under Chuck Diesel’s management. It will be Perez’s fourth Philadelphia appearance.

In a special 6 round light welterweight match Philadelphia’s Ray “Tito” Serrano, 19-2 (9), now under Mark Cipparone’s Club 1957 takes on southpaw Jerome Rodriguez, 6-1-3 (2), of Allentown, PA, under Jim Deoria’s management.

Super welterweight southpaw Robert Sweeney, 2-1, of Manassa, VA, and Alex Sanchez, 4-6 (3), of Camden, NJ, are also in a 6 rounder. Lamont Roach, Jr., 5-0 (2), of Upper Marlboro, MD, meets Herbert “Sensational” Quartey, 12-10 (9), of Ghana, in a 6 rounder.

In a pair of 4 rounder’s Philadelphia’s Avery Sparrow, 3-0 (1), making his fourth 2300 Arena start meets Mexico’s Pedro Andre’s, 1-3 (1), now out of Bridgeton, NJ, having scored a knockout win in his last fight. Carlos Rosario, 1-1 (0), of Pennsauken, NJ, meets Timothy McNair, 0-2, of Snow Hill, NC, in a 4 round super featherweight match.

The weigh-in will be at Parx Casino with a 50th birthday celebration for former world champion Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins on Monday! He will also be celebrated the following night on Fox Sports 1!
