Promoter Marshall Kauffman’s Kings Promotions will feature in the main event at South Philly’s 2300 Arena Saturday Puerto Rico’s super welterweight Prichard “Digget” Colon, 12-0 (10) against Mexican Hector “Hurricane” Munoz, 23-13-1 (15), of Albuqueque, NM, over 8 rounds. Anytime you match a Puerto Rican against a Mexican you usually can expect fireworks!

This is an 11 bout card featuring 9 unbeaten boxers including an Olympian, one debuting GG champion and a State College, PA, fighter. Two former amateur champions from the area will also be on the card with 5 bouts at 6 rounds and 5 bouts at 4 rounds.

Lightweight 2008 Olympian Raynell Williams, 5-0 (3), of Cleveland, OH, takes on Ryan Picou, 2-4 (0), of Las Vegas, NV. Philly super bantamweight and former GG champion Stephen “Scooter Fulton, 3-0 (1), takes on Dominican Eric Gotay, 3-2 (1).

Wilmington, DE, middleweight Kyrone “Shut it Down” Davis, 5-0 (3), who was the first amateur boxer from his state to take home a national title, takes on Puerto Rico’s Jonathan Garcia, 4-11 (1). 2012 Olympic Alternate welterweight Willie “Problem Child” Jones, 4-0 (2), of Tampa, FL, who was Angelo Dundee’s “last pupil” and who beat Philly’s Hasan Young in the 2011 USA Nationals takes on Puerto Rico’s Moises Rios, 5-2 (4). Grayson Blake, 5-3 (2), of State College, PA, takes on Anthony Prescott, 5-4-2 (2), of Cherry Hill, NJ. All of these bouts are scheduled for 6 rounds.

Former GG champion middleweight Caleb “Sweet Hands” Hunter Plant, 5-0 (4), of Ashland City, TN, returns to the area after a win last month in Chester, and will take on David Lopez, 4-11-3 (1), of Caldwell, ID. Former National GG champion cruiserweight Earl Newman, 3-0 (3), of Brooklyn, NY, also won at Chester last month, and takes on Yuwshua Zadok, 2-2-1 (2), of Atlanta, GA. Welterweight Jamontay “Quiet Assassin” Clark, 3-0 (3), of Cinn., OH, takes on Dominique Foster, 2-6-1 (3), of Hilliard, OH. Debuting bantamweight and former National GG champion Antonio Russell, of DC, takes on Garbiel Braxton, 2-7 (1), of Red Oak, GA. Featherweight Roberto Irizarry, 2-0-1 (0), of NJ, who has fought all his bouts in Chester, takes on TBA. All of these bouts are scheduled for 4 rounds.

Colon, Fulton, Davis, Newman and Plant are all managed by Al Haymon.

Williams, Jones, Russell, and Clark may also be which means all these young unbeaten boxers are prospects to watch! Russell is the third brother of six to win the National GG title.
