It will be a packed card this Saturday at the Sands Casino Resort, in Bethlehem, PA, as Main Events and Peltz Boxing over USA NBC Sports Network. Matchmakers are J Russell Peltz, Jolene Mizzone and Brittany Rogers.
In the main event 2 division world champion Poland’s Tomasz Adamek, 49-2 (29), out of Jersey City, NJ, meets Ukraine’s Vyacheslav Glazkov, 16-0-1 (11), over 12 rounds in Adamek’s defense of his IBF American heavyweight title. Adamek’s is shooting for his 50th win!
Bethlehem’s Ronald Cruz, 20-2 (15), takes on Kermit “Killer” Cintron, 34-5-2 (28) formerly of Reading, PA, now out of Houston in a 10 round welterweight title match. Cintron is the former IBF welterweight champion who hasn’t fought in this area since 2003.
In a light heavyweight bout Isaac “Golden Boy” Chilema, 21-2-2 (19), of RSA and Russian Denis Grachev, 13-2-1 (8), of San Diego fight in a 10 rounder. Karl “Dynamite” Dargan, 14-0 (7), of Philly meets Chazz McDowell, 6-4-1 (1), of Yonkers, NY, over 8 rounds of lightweight action.
Allentown, PA, southpaw Jerome Rodriguez, 6-0-2 (2), takes on Brandon Williams, 3-0 (2), of Rochester, NY, in a 6 round junior welter match. Nathaniel Rivas, 2-0, of W. Berlin, NJ, meets Terrell James, 1-1-1, of Philly in a 4 round welter match. Bethlehem’s Luis Acevedo makes his debut against Josh Crespo, 1-1-1 (1), in a 4 round super bantam match.
